PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) partnered with Divistant to optimize the maintenance and management of its critical digital applications. As a key public transportation provider, MRT Jakarta relies on multiple applications for operations, passenger services, and internal management. This project focused on establishing comprehensive maintenance practices, standardizing development workflows, enhancing security posture, and ensuring continuous monitoring and support across all application systems.

Decentralized Application Management, Legacy Documentation Gaps, External Vendor Dependencies, Security Vulnerabilities, Lack of Standardized Development

Decentralized Application Management

Multiple applications were managed across different directorates without centralized governance, leading to inconsistent practices and fragmented oversight.

Lack of Comprehensive Documentation

Existing systems lacked detailed technical documentation including SDD, ERD, and PRD, making maintenance and knowledge transfer extremely difficult.

Dependence on External Vendors

High dependency on external vendors for development and maintenance created bottlenecks and increased operational risk when vendor support was unavailable.

Security & Compliance Gaps

Applications lacked regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and backup validation, exposing the organization to potential security threats.

Inconsistent Development Practices

No standardized SDLC, version control strategy, or deployment pipelines were in place, leading to unreliable releases and difficult troubleshooting.

Conducted comprehensive system assessments across all applications and compiled complete technical documentation including SDD, ERD, PRD, and architecture diagrams for each system.

Application Maintenance & Best Practices

Implemented Agile Scrum SDLC, DevOps practices, Git Flow branching, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. Also integrated Microsoft Azure SSO and centralized user log management.

Security Testing & Continuous Monitoring

Established regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, stress testing, and automated backup validation. Deployed monitoring tools for real-time application and infrastructure health tracking.
